Denver Trip

So Devin and I took a couple of days off of work and flew over to Denver for the weekend to visit Devin's family. We had some pretty crazy weather while we were there. Friday and Saturday were both very nice. Saturday even got in the 70's! Then Sunday was crazy weather. We had blizzards all day long and it was cold! Then Monday was beautiful! The sun was out and there wasn't a cloud in the sky! Anyways... we flew over Thursday night and watched some of Idol and then went to bed. Then on Friday, we got up and went to the outlets and did some shopping for Devin's birthday. He got some new pants and a couple new shirts and a pair of shorts. Then we went to his brother Tyson's play at his high school. Tyson played Isachar (one of the brothers) in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. On Saturday, Devin's mom (who is the stake relief society president) had her women's conference. So I went with her to that. It was a very nice program with a great speaker and some awesome musical numbers. We then went to the mall and did a little more shopping and then went to see Tyson's last performance of Joseph. Sunday (Devin's birthday), we went to church and came home and played some Mormon Bridge. Devin's mom and dad made some sweet and sour chicken for dinner, and to celebrate Devin's birthday we had angel food cake and home made ice cream. All of which was very delicious! On Monday we woke up and had some lunch at a Mexican restaurant and then we went to Famous Footwear and Target. We then flew back to Salt Lake. Sorry for the play by play, but I am not very good at the clever writing like Annette is. So that is pretty much what we did on our trip. It was a good time and we had fun!

I'm glad it was a good trip for you! That's a bummer about the snow though. I guess that's what you get for going to Denver! :) Happy belated birthday Devin! Hope it was a great one!

I'm very glad you came to Colorado for the weekend!!! And just to clarify... in Denver you always have a 30 degree guarantee with the weather. The news might predict that it is going to be 40 degrees which actually means that it could be 30 degrees warmer or colder than that. And besides - you can't beat those beautiful clear blue skies. Love ya both!!!
