Rainy Days...

We've been having some rainy days lately. After the storm, we had more thunder, more lightning, and more rain. By about the third day I decided that it was time to get my apartment all cleaned up, so I was at least productive for one day... Then yesterday, the clouds broke and the sun came through! It was so nice for a change. I spent most of the day with Nancy. We went to the store and then came back and I played with Josh while she got a cake made (for a picture of how cute it was, check out her blog) and her house picked up a little bit. We got a sweet visiting teaching message from Kaysha and Angie and then we had our weekly So You Think You Can Dance? party. It was good times. Today, we're back to rain. On a good note, Devin has been rocking it this week!!! He had a few slow weeks, but I am so happy and proud of how well he has done this week and I hope that he ends the week as strong as he started it. :) And his garden is growing better than ever!! He's been able to eat a couple of tomatoes and peas, and mmmm, mmmm they are GOOD! I just love the fresh produce! We are all excited to celebrate the 4th of July!! I'm just sad that we can't go to the parade in Provo. I just hope that we can find somewhere to go watch fireworks. That's one thing that I am really missing this year. It is also our 6 month anniversary. I can't believe that we have already been married for 6 months! Time flies by!! We're gonna have to find something fun to do for that as well. That's about all that I have for today. I hope that all of you who read this are having a good day!!

We missed you a lot this 4th. It seemed so quiet with just Tricia and myself. Mark worked all day. Kara came over for a while and Ryan went with his brother boating. Check out my blog for the rest of our activities.

flIf I didnt have Josh, I totally would have tried to go downtown on the third for their fire work show. I really miss the fireworks shows as well. I'm glad we got to hang out with you guys, though. It makes up a bit for missing the Utah party!
