The Jungle

Devin's garden has been one of the funnest thing for us this summer. (Devin says it was the funnest thing.) It was fun to watch it grow, and we didn't get a ton of produce from it, but it was fun to take care of, and we got a few yummy vegetables. All in all, we were able to eat a couple of cucumbers, a zucchini, some beet greens, a couple of peas, lots of little tomatoes, and rhubarb. (We have a squash growing, but it's not going to be ready before we leave, we also have some peppers that probably won't be ready either.) These are some of the vegetables that are still growing, and some that we are going to eat really soon!

The Zucchini we're going to eat for lunch today. Yum!

Our Squash. This won't be ready before we have to go. :(

The peppers. Devin told me I can't eat any cause they're going to be really spicy! (Pica mucho) I think I am ok with that. :)

Our Beans. We have a couple of blossoms on the plant, but no beans yet.

And here is how our garden grew over the summer. The plants definitely got a lot bigger! It was fun to watch it grow!

And the final product...

And just a couple more pictures of Devin. He was really happy that I wanted to post these ones. :)Oh, he's so cute. (Sorry that the picture is pretty blurry.)

Devin's like a boy in a man's body...either that or he likes posing! His garden looks great. Maybe he should grow stuff like Matt does for a living.
