Yesterday Devin went fishing with John and John's brother and caught a fish! Dad was cooking salmon on the grill, so Devin threw his trout on there with it. Here is Devin gutting his fish. I know, it's pretty gross, but it's the only one that I took.
I am not a huge fan of fish, but I tried some of Devin's and it actually turned out pretty well. Way to go!

Way To Go Dev!!! Congrats on your fish catching!!! Trout is my favorite fish - I suppose because I was raised on it summer after summer. You're following in both of your grandpa's footsteps - they are both terrific fishermen!!! And Lianne - way to be brave and taste it!!! Love you both!!!
Trout is good. I still haven't had dad's salmon. I'm glad he had fun fishing.

I recently went fishing... I hate it. I caught a fish... but then when I was trying to get out the hook, there was blood everywhere and the fish was so sad... oh gosh- if it wasn't for the fact that I love meat, I would become a vegetarian. Honestly, I loved gutting the fish and pointing out anatomical structures :D (I know I'm a geek ha ha)

I don't like fish but it looks like he is certainly proud of catching that little guy. Well, I hope it was good. I'm glad your back in the home state!
Yukky, Yukky, Yukky to gut, but way, way, way YUMMY to taste! I LOVE trout. Ummm, wish I could have had some.
